Club Information

The Statue of Liberty Club (SLC) started in the fall of 1991 with a 3-page newsletter and 3 members. Today there are several hundred members reading and enjoying the newsletter. (And you thought you were the only one that's infatuated with her!) There are members in South America, Canada, France, and the United States. Some people receiving the Newsletter include the President of The United States, Mayor and Governor of New York, the Superintendent of National Parks Service-Liberty Island and Mr. Christopher Radko, glass ornament artist.

Not for Profit
The SLC is run as a not-for-profit organization but does not have 501c3 status, therefore donations are not deductible. The club hopes to officially go for the 501c3 status the summer of 2011.

Membership Information
torchThe Statue of Liberty Club publishes a newsletter three times a year, Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer, with additional bulletins/notices as applicable. The Membership Fee is $20.00 USD per year, which includes a membership card, Newsletters, free advertising in the Classified Section of the Newsletter, discounts on some selected items, opportunities to attend Club Meetings, and a donation from this fee goes to the SLC Special Project at the Statue of Liberty.
