Limited Edition GeoCoin 2007 Meeting Medal
Each of these medals share one unique
serial number identifying it as a trackable geocoin. Geocaching is an outdoor
treasure-hunting game in which participants use a Global Positioning System
(GPS) receiver to hide and seek containers - called geocaches or caches -
anywhere in the world. This makes each medal a great collectible for liberty
collectors and geocachers. The two copper medals have the same serial number:
one is to keep and the other is for hiding in a cache. There are over a half
million registered geocaches in 222 countries.
Only 121 pairs were made symbolizing the
121st anniversary of the Statue of Liberty in 2007. Weight is 1 oz. of copper
each.
